The Workforce and Professional Development Department at Eastern Maine Community College is passionate about preparing learners for educational and professional success. The Workforce and Professional Development Department is uniquely equipped to connect students from all walks of life to the education, training, and career paths they desire that will lead them to in-demand, well-paying jobs in the communities in which they live. The Workforce Department strives to engage learners at all stages of their professional personal journeys, providing access to entry-level short-term training, certification, licensure, and degree pathways, and continuing professional development and recertification opportunities.

The Workforce and Professional Development Department at Eastern Maine Community College can help you raise awareness about your organization’s mission through various modalities of educational experiences. Our team of will collaborate with you to create experiences that engage community members, business owners, learners, and other organizations, offering opportunities to learn about your organization and mission and even earn a virtual badge upon completion.
