Commencement 2025
FRIDAY, MAY 9th at 3 p.m. at the Cross Insurance Center
All students nearing the completion of their credentials must apply for graduation. Regardless of whether you plan to participate in May’s Commencement ceremony, you must complete this application to receive your diploma. Students should submit their application by the extended deadline of April 4th if they want to be included in May’s Commencement program. Those within 2 classes of completing their program of study at the end of the spring semester are eligible to participate.
Students who filled out the Application for Graduation and are considered May 2025 graduates, and will have their final degree verifications completed by June 15th. Once those are complete, the Office of the Registrar will begin processing diplomas.
- Students missing requirements will be emailed at their EMCC email address.
- All diplomas will be mailed to the address listed on the Application for Graduation by July 1st. If you are a May graduate and you have not received your diploma by the end of July, please email emccregistrar@mainecc.edu.
Caps and Gowns
Students can pick up their caps and gowns in the EMCC College Store in early April.
Commencement
The 2025 Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Cross Insurance Center on FRIDAY, MAY 9th at 3 p.m. Students MUST arrive before 2:30 to prepare for the processional. There will be unlimited seating for families. Please email emccacademicaffairs@mainecc.edu if you or your family need accommodations.
