Healthcare remains one of the strongest industries and largest employers throughout the State of Maine, providing both career stability and opportunity.
Remote Work in Health Office Occupations: This foundational training will prepare you with the basic skills to work remotely in medical office occupations including patient services, records, and billing. Delivered online over 16 weeks, this program combines medical, technical, customer service, and remote work skills to prepare you for a successful career in the health field. This program is also a great foundation for students who wish to pursue a clinical health career such as nursing and medical assisting. Courses include Medical Terminology I, Medical Law and Ethics, Computer Applications, Customer Service Excellence, and Remote Working. Students will earn 9 credits and MCCS digital badges.
